Just thought I'd share my favorite salad dressing recipe. It's a great way to zest up plain on ranch dressing.
1/2 ranch, 1/2 BBQ sauce This dressing is really great on Chicken Salads with fried Onions.
3/4 ranch, 1/4 honey mustard. I love this way better than honey mustard dressing you buy from the store. It's great as a dip, and I also love it on my salads at lunch time.

Scented Playdough Recipe!!!
I've been really disapointed with modeling dough recipes in the past. S0metimes the dough was too flaky. Other times it was slimy. Usually it just got hard as a rock within 24 hrs (when I used simple salt dough recipes). But I've found a great recipe I'd love to share with you!!!
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups salt
6 tsp cream of tartar
3 cups very hot water
4 T. cooking oil
Food Coloring
scents/extracts used for candy making
Mix together flour, salt, and cream of tartar. Add water, oil and food coloring. Cook over low heat till it coagulates. Mix. Cool a bit. Knead for 6 to 1o minutes.
I had to add some more flour till I felt it was the right consistency. Then I kneaded in some candy flavoring, and it gave the play dough the most wonderful smell! That's the one downfall of homemade play dough: it can smell REALLY nasty. But this fixed it, and it was great fun too.
The yellow play dough smells like Pina Colada
The Pink play dough smells like Watermelon
The Blue Play dough smells like Raspberry
The brown play dough smells like Root beer
The Green play dough smells like wintergreen
It's been weeks since I made this recipe, and the play dough is still just as good as the day we made it. I'm very excited about this! My kids play with it for hours on end...which means I can work on my own projects!!!
