The 4 girls and I had a lovely weekend celebrating just us girls being together while Scott took Christopher to the Father-Son Campout.
First we ate dinner out at Arctic Circle. A very big deal to the girls since we almost never go out to eat. Then we played at a new park and took lots of fun pictures.
Then we went home to finish eating our milkshakes while watching Black Beauty.
In the morning, we painted all our fingernails and toenails. The girls experimented with choosing a different color for each nail. Then we watched Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella. I love that version! We had so much fun playing outside on the pool and the trampoline that I burned the bread I had worked hard all morning to bake. :(
It was fun to do some girly things and have lots of Mommy-daughter bonding time!
The girls are really looking forward to having a Daddy-daughter campout later this summer. When they do that, I'll get to take Christopher out on a Mother-son date.
We love making great memories and starting new traditions!
